From the Biodiversidad en Paisajes Productivos Project we have been supporting the implementation and start-up of the green line in the provinces: Independencia, Bahoruco and Barahona.

The green line is a channel authorized by the Ministry of the Environment to receive, classify, process and follow up on environmental complaints and claims from citizens.

Previously, complaints were received directly in Santo Domingo and the provincial office was notified. Now, complaints will be addressed through a unified platform that allows greater control and monitoring of complaints from both the central and provincial offices.
