Training in investigation of causes and statistics of forest fires began last Monday, May 8, with the provision of expertise from the Ministry for Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge of Spain, managed by FAO within the framework of the project Effective conservation of assets and ecosystem services in threatened productive mountain landscapes, BPP.
35 technicians representing the national fire management program were trained, as well as the directorates of Protected Areas, Inspection and Risk Management, and Legal Affairs, the Ministry of the Environment and Natural Resources, as well as the National Environmental Protection Service (SENPA) @senpard and the Attorney for the Defense of the Environment.
